Guessing Warren Buffett will not be offering a perfect bracket prize this season when 12 teams are eligible by the end of this.
Somehow, Oregon is off this list...so far.
Of consequence to Oregon this season: Metu of USC IS on this list. May affect eligibility.

I am not sure anyone is clean, just gotta hope you stay off the list.
On the bright side, maybe still have a shot at a 1 seed in this years tournament.

Every school is probably dirty one way or another. Some more egregious than others. The NCAA has their hands full now. Funny thing is that I have no faith in the NCAA, and that penalties will not be commensurate with what transpired, but who’s palms will still get greased. The NCAA is just as freaking dirty as the teams that play within their bylaws.

Exactly. I have no faith in the Ncaa to punish anything after carolina committed BLATANT fraud in academics and got NO penalties.

Exactly. Transfers/canadian players probably helps us quite a bit here.northbeachsf wrote:I am not sure anyone is clean, just gotta hope you stay off the list.

Only guys I'd worry about would be Dorsey, Brown Jr., and then the 2018 guys.
Will be interesting but it's safe to say everyone's in on it to some degree, just have to hope the FBI didn't find lil ol duckies.

UW was always a suspicious program. A mediocre program now and they seem to always recruit and get top NBA talents. Faultz was very strange top talent who traveled across the country to play for UW. But it all makes sense now.

Can't imagine overall landscape of football recruiting being any more clean than that of basketball. What might help alleviate the problem a little is the greedy NCAA should start paying athletes, which they should have implemented a long time ago. But that will never happen because once they start doing that that will open the door to a whole other set of problems for the NCAA and its fat profits.

The old “Kentucky Handshake” has been affected by inflation. $100k. Yikes.

This solution always makes me laugh. What is your plan for doing that? And then what is your plan to keep shady programs from continuing to pay extra over and above what they are supposed to?alxtw wrote:Can't imagine overall landscape of football recruiting being any more clean than that of basketball. For God sake, just let players go to the NBA if they think they're ready. And enforce the rules. All these programs that get caught should face major penalties. No tourney. No scholarships. Loss of revenue. Maybe the death penalty.
