Ducks are moving onto the Sweet Sixteen with their 101-73 win over the Gophers. They'll face either 11-seed George Washington or 3-seed Ohio State in Spokane.

Minnesota got the last ten points and Oregon wins by twenty-eight. They were sloppy at the end but gained playing time. Thirty-two wins now. Shot 70% from the field.

I think this is a good move by Graves, Sabrina; she ends up that close to a triple double, but actually doesn't even end up with a double-double, which Hebard got. Another coach, player would make sure she got the 3 dub, for publicity, ego. But that isn't what Oregon is playing for.greenyellow wrote:What a 3rd quarter. Oregon outscores the Gophers by 17 and now have a 32-point lead entering the 4th. Sabrina is only 3 rebounds and 1 assist away from a triple-double. Wonder if they try to get her another one.

I don't think our men's team lacked those 2 things throughout the year, tbh.rockthief wrote:Men's team - notice the hustle? Notice the defense?

Inconsistency is what I saw over time. next year they will be several games better.Phenom wrote:I don't think our men's team lacked those 2 things throughout the year, tbh.rockthief wrote:Men's team - notice the hustle? Notice the defense?

95% of this forum is mens BBall, and yet 1/4 of the posts in this tread have been about the mens team. They are done playing for the year, the women are not.rockthief wrote:Inconsistency is what I saw over time. next year they will be several games better.Phenom wrote:I don't think our men's team lacked those 2 things throughout the year, tbh.rockthief wrote:Men's team - notice the hustle? No need to disrespect the women by constantly bringing up the men in threads that are women oriented!
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

It's not disrespectful to compare the two programs, especially when they are saying one has been consistently better than the other and stating reasons why.

McGwire seems to be struggling this year against the more talented opposition.
Other people need to get her minutes to develop.
Sweet sixteen again!
The women's teams came through big time this weekend.
