Would You Rather...
UCLA stay hot, upset Utah, and beat USC to win the South, giving us a more winnable P12 championship game, but potentially hurting our CFP chances? We’d be reliant on some chaos above us in the polls.
Or
Play an 11-1 Utah

Utah 100%. I think we'd need to play, and beat, an 11-1 Utah team for our SOS to have any chance at a playoff berth.whosyourwally wrote:UCLA stay hot, upset Utah, and beat USC to win the South, giving us a more winnable P12 championship game, but potentially hurting our CFP chances? Utah, or the committee will keep us out. Even a 10-2 Utah is better than UCLA.
Plus, if the conference has two NY6 teams it means more money for everyone in the conference. I think it’s ~1 million or so. Money they can use to prop up the other sports.

Utah, not even a little. If you want to see A pac12 team (hopefully the dux). You 100% need 2, 11-1, teams being great in the title game.

Don't have to worry as Utah is absolutely whipping UCLA.

Utah looks goooood. That's easily going to be the toughest game of the year, and the winner will honestly deserve a CFB Playoff berth.

Yeah I've been feeling nervous about whether we really stack up with the other playoff teams, but if we manage to beat Utah I'm going to be feeling pretty confident that we can hang.

Yes, and the team that doesn't go to the CFP might go to the Rose Bowl.Tray Dub wrote:Yeah I've been feeling nervous about whether we really stack up with the other playoff teams, but if we manage to beat Utah I'm going to be feeling pretty confident that we can hang.

I agree, Utah is legit on both sides of the ball. I wasn’t impressed with Moss based off highlights until I watched a little bit of their game last night. He absolutely runs through everything. He is very hard to bring down.StevensTechU wrote:Utah looks goooood. That's easily going to be the toughest game of the year, and the winner will honestly deserve a CFB Playoff berth.
