Amazing win! With everything & everybody against them the Ducks come out with the win. 10.8 and the Michigan guy thought his floater was gonna win the game? No way. The tough in this Ducks team is impressive. Mathis's shot was late, so OT, then the ridiculous out of bounds call, but not a problem.
The 3's from Mathis were big at the start, but ultimately the domination on the boards wins the game. The depth is amazing, especially so early, there never appears to be a big drop off whoever is on the floor.

This team is extremely tough. Crazy good win! Oregon will probably drop a couple games throughout the season it’s just the nature of the beast. However there won’t be a game all year long this team isn’t in position to win

Nice that we finally had a good start against a top team after Bahamas we kept getting behind early.

The B1G is notorious for horribly homered officiating(it happens to them IN conference a lot too, so it's not just a screw the Pac-12 thing. Ted Valentine was the worst).

Duarte's adjustment to D-1 will be a real key for us I think as the season goes on. This physical ability is there, but he's really inconsistent over the course of the game. Plays hard though.

Meh there were definitely some bad calls but we are over 12 fans. This was officiated better than most games in our conference

Can we replay this game in March with Dante, Juiston, and a fully healthy roster?

Such a fantastic win that makes up for the two losses in the Bahamas. As long as Michigan stays on track this will be a real feather in our cap come seeding time. This is such a classic Altman team too. Pritchard is an elite PG but other than that it's mostly just a bunch of dudes who play hard and have bought in on both sides of the court. What's great too is as the season goes on some of the younger guys will start to emerge and give Pritchard some real help.

Very much this. I think we did see a difference in one team coached by a 30 year HOF coach, and another in his 1st year as a head coach. Oregon seemed to always have a plan on offense and defense, while Michigan seemed to be freelancing, especially on their final play, with 10.8 to work with.
Having a premier point really showed up big in this one. Not only his individual talent but the way he directs the team and gives all the other players the confidence to stay in control, "we got this".

I thought it was interesting in the post-game presser from Howard to see the difference as well. He was defensive, loathe to point out fault in either himself or his players. Altman, on the other hand, is always quick to point out deficiencies and things that need work. It's like uttering fault is not some kind of existential threat for him - he knows they can improve. Howard seemed like he was trying to justify his presence there, like he was in a job interview. I can't help feeling like Oregon is a pretty good coaching gig. Just a way more relaxed environment than a school like Michigan.

Prediction
Michigan struggled against Illinois, but playing on the road is much different from playing in the friendly confines of Crisler Center. The game could come down to whether Simpson and the Wolverines can slow down Pritchard; he has been an elite offensive player so far this season and his outside shooting and playmaking present a sizable threat. Michigan 71, Oregon 70

Pritchard's cuts to the basket are incredible. He uses contact like few college guards I've seen. Knows just when to barrel into a guy so that the opposing force will give a quick bounce of the boards and a scoring opportunity. Def. in the conversation for being All American.

I love how quickly this team has picked up Altman's Matchup Zone and the ball movement among the wings. When Juston and Dante come back... OH BABY!

What a game! So proud of this team for sticking it out. I feel like this might be the most mentally tough team ever in the Altman era. They just have a will to win! There are still some things to work on, offense got stagnant for a while and ball movement could’ve been better, but it’s great to see them improve so much with free throw shooting and rebounding! Two things that really cost them in Atlantis. With Juiston and Dante coming, this team really has a strong chance at making the Final Four!
