Going to this game with my little sister. She graduated from Oregon, but now works for OSU. She will be rooting for OSU. She used to work with Ruark at George Fox, so she has that connection, too.

Ducks need to sustain the energy they played with, especially at the start, of the game at MKA to get the win. Overall, the Beavs outshot the Ducks, 49% to 44%, the Ducks did much better on 3's, 43% to 22%. The Ducks attempted 8 more shots overall, 63-55. With the rebounds even at 33, the extra shots came from the Beavs having nearly twice as many TO's as did the Ducks, 13-7.

Considering the size disadvantage, Erin Boley gave it her all in defending down low. Great effort, now start raining those famous bombs!
Moore and Shelley split minutes, 17 each. I like it.

Good call on Boley, right with the others on balling out, especially at the start of the game, made a lot of good switches on D. Her 3 is coming back; 6-8 against Cal, and 1/3 against the Beavs, 7/11 64%. Moore has become more aggressive offensively in the last couple of games, w/o losing anything defensively, great to see. Shelley had her 10 3's game a while back, certainly hasn't done that again but is fitting right in on both ends. We can't leave out Chavez; dagger 3's, and she's always moving on defense.panamaslim wrote:Considering the size disadvantage, Erin Boley gave it her all in defending down low. Really bad timing with these injuries to the backup bigs. We are back to last season in terms of 0 interior depth. Hopefully Ruthy can stay out of foul trouble.

Is the officiating as bad as the Oregon Sports radio broadcast indicates?

Well, im no trained official but there were a few super ticky tack fouls againt Oregon players. Notabaly Chavez who has been royally screwed with 3 fouls! Not a fan of the double dribble call on Sabally either..maxduck wrote:Is the officiating as bad as the Oregon Sports radio broadcast indicates?
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

Played better in 3rd quarter. Need to keep pressure with lead.
