Fresno State @ UCLA
Bulldogs are a solid squad. Currently 20-10 over Bruins.

23-10 Fresno at half. Haener continues to impress.

Damn, what a finish, but an overall terrible day for the Pac-12.
This makes Oregon look better though.

Haener is the man! Wow that kid has some guts.
That was incredible. Thats a loss for the Pac-12, but a win for us. We are going to have wins over 2 ranked teams in 3 weeks.

Re: Fresno State @ UCLA
Pollsters better have both Fresno and UCLA ranked this week. UCLA looked like a top 15-20 team even in the loss. Just too many stupid mistakes.

Re: Fresno State @ UCLA
If you noticed on UCLA’s final drives there was blatant holding everywhere…it got to the point where my wife asked “why is that guy trying to rip his shirt off” on one play, but no call from the officials. But the refs were all over Fresno…remember that Oregon plays in Pasadena this year, those same refs who were trying to give the Bruins the win will still be there…I hope the Ducks understand they will probably not get a fair shake when it comes to officiating.

Especially since UCLA beat LSU. But I think we will see that LSU isn’t the team that ppl thought they would be.RanDux wrote:Snow White and the eleven dwarfs!pezsez1 wrote:Damn, what a finish, but an overall terrible day for the Pac-12.

Remember the Steventechu post from the beginning of the FSU game thread? "If Fresno State was in the Pac-12 this year, they'd compete to be in the top half of the conference." He took a lot of heat over it, but I suspect we are all believers now.

FSU, SDSU and BYU would finish 1-2-3 in the south this year. The south sucks

Oregon might end up being judged on its OOC games, like BYU, BSU, or Cincinnati. If so, the FSU win over UCLA might end up helping Oregon more than a UCLA win over FSU would have. What is FSU's ceiling if it runs the table? Could Oregon end up with two top 10 OOC wins?

Re: Fresno State @ UCLA
Highly doubt it. Group of 5 teams usually are ranked on what they did the year prior rather than current year. It's ridiculous but is frequently the case.73duck wrote:Oregon might end up being judged on its OOC games, like BYU, BSU, or Cincinnati. Re: Fresno State @ UCLA
Fresno is 22 now. If they were to win out, they'd end up about 8-12 realistically.
If Oregon keeps on winning and Fresno is 11-1 with their only loss to a top 5 team by a TD, they'd be probably closer to that 8-10 range.

We need UCLA to keep winning, too. That would boost Fresno's win and ours, if we beat them. Especially if UCLA beats USC.lukeyrid13 wrote:Fresno is 22 now. If they were to win out, they'd end up about 8-12 realistically.
