1994 top prospects scouting report

Post by jibbajabba614 »

Another draft to help GM’s for better insight to how doing the draft file goes. Because we don’t have a clear #1, by the time draft comes, we could. Next step will be to see how future sims goes

Jason Kidd
Aka the Kid from California. Deadly open three point shot. When contested, he shoots as a 30% shooter. Open three, he will knock them down 50% of the time. After a highly publicized recruiting process, Kidd became one of the fan favorites in college basketball. As a top college player, he managed to become a solid scorer, amazing ball handler and passer and became a pretty good rebounder.
Potential: 2 B’s 2 C’s 1 D 1 A

Grant Hill
Hill also is widely known for his role in the Hail Mary play in the NCAA tournament regional final against Kentucky in 1992 but Hill has always been a big name at Duke. Hill became the first player in ACC history to collect more than 1,900 points, 700 rebounds, 400 assists, 200 steals, and 100 blocked shots. While Hill may never become a top ten scorer in DASL, scouts feel he can be an all around player here.
Potential: 2 B’s 2 C’s 1 D 1 A

Glenn Robinson
Best inside scorer in the draft. Averaged 27ppg and 10rpg for the Boilermakers during two seasons at Purdue. Purdue's campus bookstores sold T-shirts featuring Robinson's image and his nickname "Big Dog" before Robinson complained and they discontinued the practice. The beginning of college basketball scandals. Glenn Robinson was a house hold name and didn’t see a dime doing so.
Potential: 2 B’s 2 C’s 1 D 1 A

Eddie Jones
Known to be a scorer, as a junior at Temple, he became a 19ppg scorer. All around player. Better at offense than defense. Teams may fall in love with Jones due to guys falling in drafts. Whether he can be the next Charles Smith will be a question. For one, he plays the guard position. But teams will be happy to know they can have a backup plan.
Potential: 2 B’s 3 C’s A 1

Jalen Rose
Son of Jimmy Walker, former number one pick in the 1967 draft. As a result of Rose's prominence in the NCAA, Jalen became one of the most popular names because of this. Rose was a part of Wolverines coach Steve Fisher's legendary 1991 recruiting class, dubbed the "Fab Five", scoring 17ppg as a freshmen. As a 6’8 point guard, Rose has the ability to be a multiple position player.
Potential: 1 B 4 C’s 1 A

Appreciate this. Although 3 guys battling at the top isn't as exciting as a home run superstar at the top Id be glad to add any of these guys

I see these guys as solid pieces, no franchise cornerstones.
