World Championships - Oregon 2022
I only have a casual interest in watching some of the replays and the Stadium looks nice on TV minus the empty stands.

Devon Allen makes the 110M hurdles final. He'll be one of 3 Americans in the final alongside reigning Olympic champion Hansle Parchment of Jamaica.

Re: World Championships - Oregon 2022
Allen just got DQ'd with a false start by .001 seconds on his reaction time. Such a disappointment for Allen after losing his dad this year.

Grant Holloway won with a time of 13.04, which Allen could easily run.

Many in the track world are coming down on Allen's side. They cite this as another example why people have been turned off of T&F.
At least he's taking it better most would be in his situation.

The Devon Allen thing sucked, but it has been a great showing by Team USA thus far.

I don't know how to keep people interested in TF, but I do know this is how you lose an audience. (Another slow-mo angle)

First we had "Dyer was down!" Now we've got "Allen didn't jump!"

Who can make me a t-shirt with Devon Allen's image that says "TOO FAST" on it? It'll be my 2022 version of Stop Pre.

Re: World Championships - Oregon 2022
More and more people are saying there may be something off with the equipment off at Hayward as the reaction times are off the charts in comparison to past WCs.

Re: World Championships - Oregon 2022
I love track and field but this is bs nonsense. The rule was based on nothing but someone's notion of how it should be.
