Lakers Trade:
Lane

Lakers '99 2nd
*Nets have already traded their top five 2000 protected 1st rounder so in the scenario where the protection kicks in, the Nets are obligated to have the next two first round picks available to give to Lakers (i.e. if protection kicks in for 2000 and 2001, then the Lakers will get the Nets' 2002 and 2003 1st round picks, meaning the Nets can't trade any picks past 2001). in the scenario that protection kicks in on 2000 Nets 1st, the protection detailed on the "^" footnote moves from the 2002 1st round pick to the latter of the two first round picks to be traded to Lakers. This is unlikely to occur but just spelling out in case.
^Top 7 protection forever
