Side note that pleases me that I hadn’t thought of, there is only one green and yellow team in the Big. We will get some brand recognition out of that.

OS has been a bunch of whiny babies. I sure hope we never play them again.

Sure wish Oregon had a quarterback heading into a new conference.

With Ty sticking around we kind of have the heir apparentPhalanx wrote:Sure wish Oregon had a quarterback heading into a new conference.

Most of the top teams will be in the same boat though. Penn St. returns their QB, as does tOSU, but tOSU’s QB doesn’t look that great.Phalanx wrote:Sure wish Oregon had a quarterback heading into a new conference.
Next season may be determined by who wins in the portal.

Ty is not the guy. We’re going to have to bring someone in from the portal.Zyme wrote:With Ty sticking around we kind of have the heir apparentPhalanx wrote:Sure wish Oregon had a quarterback heading into a new conference.

Ty has looked much improved this year, I’m going to believe in Ty if he’s the guy next year.

I feel bad for Ty, but I have to agree. Unless he makes a major jump I just can't see him starting.HomeSickDuck wrote:Ty is not the guy. This team is built to contend for the playoffs for the next few years, at least, and must have a proven QB who can run the offense.
I kind of expect Thompson to transfer and Novosad to take over as the backup.

Ty is NOT the heir apparent. Not enough fire in his belly or football smarts IMHO. Our next QB will be out of the portal or maybe Novostad.SuperDuck wrote:I feel bad for Ty, but I have to agree. 2028 seems like our most friendly schedule. 2025 not too bad either. The rest are brutal.

I hope UW becomes our last game every year.
