C-N'Faly Dante SR / Nate Bittle SR / Ibrahima Traore FR
PF-Kwame Evans Jr SO
SF-Brandon Angel SR / Mookie Cooke FR / Jadrian Tracey SR / Dez Lindsay JR
SG-?
PG-Jackson Shelstad SO / Keeshawn Barthelemy SR

If N'Faly Dante comes back, our front court will be pretty set. IF he doesn't, we'll need to add another body.

We are searching for a starting SG. And then could really use one more backcourt body. A freshman combo guard would be such a good fit for us, as long as he doesn't mind coming off the bench.

Dez Lindsay and Keeshawn Barthelemy can play SG too, but probably still want one more guard on the roster.

Currently if Dante returns, I'd say they need to get at least one more SG/CG and maybe one more big man.

We do need another shooter. But I will say, Oquendo (33%), Rigsby (35%), and Cousinard (34%) who were our shooting guards last year shot comparably to Moss (he shot 33% his Freshman and Sophomore years).

His FG% would be the highest on our team outside of Dante. So hopefully that translates decently to a higher level of basketball.

I'm not worried about shooting for the moon in terms of off-season player acquisitions. Especially if we could get Dante for another year, if Altman could just have a season where his players have reasonable health, I think we'd have a very good team that could go deep into the Tourney.

If Dante comes back, Oregon could start five players who were top 100 recruits (Cook/Evans/Shelstad/Dante/Bittle) who have one or more years in Altman's program. Most blue chip players from a year or more ago on other teams have left for the NBA or are in the transfer portal. Yet Oregon is unranked preseason and 80-1 to win it all.

Others are noticing this too. This is a line from a 247 article today which caught my attention:
“Oregon, UConn and Michigan State are the lone programs retaining multiple top-61 freshmen for another year.”

Our roster this year looks stronger than last year. Stay healthy and good things will happen. I could see us adding one more PF/C, someone who is more of a project with upside. Especially with how often our bigs get hurt.

Could Oregon win the Big10 in football and basketball in its first year? An interesting parlay bet :D

Some Big Ten teams did really well in the portal. Indiana will be a force next year. I like our odds quite a bit better in football than basketball.
