Vonleh was one I had higher than average hope for, as most transfers end up closer to home and she went to West Linn H.S. I am going to hold out hope (1%) that we are the one that threw a bag of cash at Kiki Iriafen and she is secretly committed to.duck92 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 5:32 pm https://texassports.com/sports/womens-b ... mmad/12619. My 1 want and team need is more size, she'd look great in green and yellow. Any idea why Aaronette Vonleh wasn't interested? She just committed to Baylor.

Oregon has added Texas F Amina Muhammad. A 6'4" PF who averaged 6 points and 4 rebounds in 19 minutes a game last year. She's Oregon CB Jabbar Muhammad's cousin.

Oregon has added BYU G Nani Falatea. Sat out last year with a knee injury but averaged over 15 points a game in 2022-23 as a SO. She's also currently the fiancee of former Oregon and BYU OL Kingsley Suamataia, who was just drafted by the Chiefs.

I get the feeling that Salimatou Kourouma isn't going to play at Oregon. There's been no official announcement and she's not on the roster that was updated today. Graves has been busy today. She committed today, https://gohuskies.com/sports/womens-bas ... long/15226 Pretty sure our roster is set for next year.

Portal news: Stanford star Kiki Iriafen and OSU 17 year starter Talia Von Oelhoffen have transferred to USC teaming with JuJu Watson and a top 3 recruiting class, the two top-rated preseason teams in the Big will be USC and UCLA. It will still be an easier conference than the PAC-12 was this year. OSU ex Raegan Beers went to Oklahoma and the stud freshman from Medford was nabbed by Mark Campbell to TCU.

Deja Kelly is the latest and last addition to the roster, I can't remember the last time we used all 15.scholarships. Welcome to the flock.

Talk about a reload for Kelly Graves. Deja makes a lot through NIL so I wonder if Oregon broke open the bank for her.

Re: 2024-25 WBB Additions/Subtractions
So a ton more talent than last year's transfer pool decimated team, this team is transfer pool built.
15 scholarship players, 11 being natural 1-3s 5 of those having at least one season of averaging +15 points per game in college and a 6th with 2 conference DYOPs , competing at same spots as 4 young blue chips. This will be a tough team to manage minutes on and give development time to the youngsters. Hopefully Graves will do better this time managing a crowded roster than the 20-21 team that played tight and far below the talent that the players showed when they transferred and blossomed on less crowded rosters. Looking back that 20-21 team only had 13 scholarship players and it seemed like 50.

The issue with that team is COVID ruined most chances they had to build chemistry before and during the season, especially with all the FR they'd brought in. This will be a much more experienced team than that one.GrandpaDuck wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 5:47 pm So a ton more talent than last year's transfer pool decimated team, this team is transfer pool built.

Hope Kelly can find a way with this bunch, his seat was getting warm and so far he seems to be responding. Time will tell. GO Ducks!
