Very impressive. I like Cliff Harris at the corner, also what happened to the tuiossopo kid? I also like Nate Costa at the QB spot

I think Tuiasosopo quit the team but is remaining in school at Oregon.

Our RB depth is just absurd.

I'm curious, is Ramsen Golpashen (sp?) really the backup at RG? I thought Cody was that... I remember him starting there during either the Stanford or UCLA game

I'm not mistaken, Weems would move to Left Tackle, then Thran would move to Guard. Cody would still be in the game at Right Guard long before Golpashen. Depth chart doesn't exactly determine who subs in for who.

Our DL is still thin. I like our starters, but the depth is a concern. I'm sure the DL will be a point of emphasis for recruiting.

And yeah, I like Cliff starting too. Safety will be interesting though. Boyett and Pleasent should be the starters, but Javes Lewis was solid last year.. So many able DBs! Funny thing is, someone over on DT said that Javes Lewis is the #2 2011 safety on Mel Kiper's board.

If Ricky Heimuli & Isaac Remington step in as impact players, then the defense could have a special year

I think Chili Duck did a really good job on his chart. If I were to bet against his chart it would be to swap Gildon over to the same side as Harris and Mitchell to backup up TJIII.

The battle between Gildon and Harris might be interesting. Gildon starting at 6'1" with the highest vertical leap in a decade for a Duck defensive back has some physical advantages whereas Harris is a ball hawk, sometimes too much so.

I would be flabbergasted to see Mitchell thrown to the wolfs as a true freshman starter with so much experience available.

It was already mentioned above but unit depth is different than substitution depth. A player may always line up as right guard when the second unit practices but in a game a different player maybe moved from another position to take that spot in a game. For example, when Carson York needed a break at Left Guard, Thron would slide over from Tackle and Weems would come in the game. So when York goes out Weems goes in even though they play different positions.
