Seriously, the Pac-12 is alienating 75% of the country with these middle of the night games. Were looking at an 11pm START on the east coast. They really need to consider earlier game times, this is ridiculous.

Never say never. The Ducks could actually run the rest of their schedule and make the playoff. There appears to be a lot of parity in college football this year and I don't see any team going unbeaten. Maybe Ohio State, but I'd be surprised.QuackininBama wrote:Kind of a weird week. First time a long long time we are 4 weeks into the season and out of the national championship picture.
I'm not sure how many one loss teams there'll be either. Alabama will have to win out, Mississippi just lost to Florida, for their first loss, and Florida's unbeaten, but has a long way to go.
If the Ducks even went 7-1 the rest of the way and finished second in the Pac-12 North they might be considered for a Big-6 Bowl game. I think the conference champ will likely have 2 losses. Unless they were fortunate enough to make the playoff, that would likely send them to the Rose Bowl and the Ducks would be a prime contender for a slot in a Big-6 game. The Ducks are a brand now and would be hard to ignore, especially after just playing for the natty.
Just sayin'. As the recently departed Yogi Berra once said, "it ain't over 'til it's over"!
Cheer up, people!!!

Utah might just be the best team in the Pac 12. SR QBs do have a history of success in this conference.

That's it! Memo to Larry Scott: All Pac-12 teams will have a domed stadium by 2020 or they're out! I'm half serious.greenyellow wrote:Andrew Greif tweeted out that the press box was told the earliest the game will kickoff is 8:05 PM.

I really miss 1:00 PM kickoffs. It seems like many of the networks are putting the best games against each other in prime time, too. I'd love to see some good SEC, Big-12, Big-10 games, etc, but not at the expense of watching my Ducks.

Do you not have the ability to record the game? I'm in Tennessee and I don't care what time the game starts I'm watching it

Considering Oregon needs to get off to a quick start to get some confidence going, this concerns me. They can't afford to come out flat and these delays are murderous to the players.

Will they call the game? Weather reports are forecasting heavy rain moving in around 11:30~11:45 p.m. EST.

Unless the weather is a threat to the teams or fans, they won't call it. I remember a few years back I got home from a night out around 2AM and a Tulsa game was still going on due to biblical style weather. Be prepared for a late night folks. Hopefully we can put it away early.hjpop wrote:Will they call the game? Weather reports are forecasting heavy rain moving in around 11:30~11:45 p.m. EST.
