Oregon starts off the inning with a leadoff double by DeLuca, an RBI single by Steer, and another single by Gabe Matthews. TTU had changed pitchers to the start the inning but are now going to another reliever after the 3 hits. 4-1 Ducks.

4-2 Ducks in the T6 after TTU was able to get a run off three singles in the B5.

Foxcroft is caught stealing at 3B, which is unfortunate because Novitske hit a single a pitch or so later. Novitske then got picked off at 1B after getting a bit too far with his lead off the bag. 4-2 Ducks headed to B6.

Game tied as TTU hits a 2-run HR. Kafka going to be relieved by Ahlstrom with 1 out in the inning but probably should have been subbed for sooner as he was already over 100 pitches before giving up the HR.
Ahlstrom forces a groundout and gets a strikout to end the inning. Tied at 4 headed to T7.

Re: Oregon @ #8 Texas Tech (Feb 15 Fri - Mon)
Pitching failing Oregon once again in the latter innings as Ahlstrom has given up 2 walks, a balk, and an RBI single. 5-4 Texas Tech in B7 with no outs and runners on the corner.
6-4 TTU after a sac fly. 1 out in B7. Fuller coming in for Ahlstrom.
Ducks get out of the inning with no further damage.

Oregon's offense goes cold the last 4 innings and they drop today's game 6-4.

tough ones over the weekend, but sometimes you play a top 10 team on the road and don't come out on top. getting a split today would be a wonderful success for this program.

That's too bad. Oregon had actually shown up decently against a top-10 team. Every game has been close and they could possibly have at least split the series.
