Vanderbilt or OS?
Not in who do you want to win (Go 'dores!!!), but in who do you think will win? And, will I have to wait until Sunday night to be put out of my misery or start another week of misery?

Re: Vanderbilt or OS?
Vandy should destroy them. Oregon State ended the year with a thud, and had an embarrassingly weak Regional in which they had to claw from behind twice to get wins. Neither Gaviglio nor Osich are pitching as well as they were, and they've had a bad Sunday starter for most of the year.

That's exactly what I'm thinking . . . I'm just hoping that it happens. The OS beat writer has declared the slump over. Pat Casey's Mom must have been on the selection committee for their regional.

I can't believe how confident the beavs are. Some are the same who bad-mouthed their team as losers after we swept them. Now they're sure they're going to take Vandy in 2.

I think the real question here is where the heck did Dallas Baptist come from?

Re: Vanderbilt or OS?
I'm pretty sure Texas, A&M, Rice, TCU, Texas State, and Dallas Baptist were all ranked at one point this year. Tech is pretty good, and Corpus Christi just missed the Tournament, and beat Oregon State earlier this year. Football may be king in Texas, but they play their baseball very well, too.

Before we got ourselves a baseball team, I would have rooted for the Beavs. But now, not so much..

Osich hasn't pitched well since UCLA. Might be a break for the beavs.

It's 4-0 Vandy in the 2nd inning. With no #2 pitcher w/o Osich... well, I hope they at least get some good eats in Nashville.
