Landen Lucas returning to Oregon for senior season

Not quite sure what to make of this. Hopefully it bodes well for Oregon.

"I just wanted to update you and let you know I'll be coming home to Oregon for my senior year," said Lucas in a text message received Sunday night. "Which school I will attend is still not decided."

"It was just because my family and I figured that because I was going off to college next year, we thought it would be nice to be home for my senior year, have fun and get ready for the next level," said Lucas. "Also, I'll be making my choice of a college before the basketball season starts."

It can only help since he may be more tempted to stay at an in-state school now that he doesn't have the pressure of playing for a nationally known prep school and having to follow others to big-time programs.
