Sabol gone

Transferred to a junior college. Didn't see that coming.

Horton remains confident that Kuedell will be back.

Really sucks about Sabol since he had a lot of potential, but with who's coming back and new recruits coming in, there are plenty of people to fill the outfield.

Wow that was definitely random, I'm busy and lazy so I won't check, but does anyone know why Sabol transferred? I thought he'd be a pretty big piece for us next season.

I think he wanted to be able to enter the draft next season instead of having to wait until after his JR year. Plus, it sounded like he wanted to play more catcher instead in the outfield. There's still plenty of talent in the outfield with Aaron Jones, Brett Thomas, Kyle Garlick, Connor Hoffman, and Andrew Mendenhall all seeing time there, plus incoming recruit Spencer O'Neill could help out too.
