they've squeaked by uc-riverside 52-41, and they've lost games against texas-san antonio (at home!) and @ new mexico state. they host stephen f. austin today. they have one guy averaging double figures (f julian washburn, 10.3 ppg).

should be a nice win, help further cohesiveness.

Absolutely terrible first half. Maybe one of the worst I have ever seen from Oregon. I don't know what to make of this team. They looked pretty good against Nebraska, but now this. Hopefully it's just the thanksgiving layover. To me, it looks like we have a lot of role players and really lack that one consistent scorer.

They won, and thats all that will matter in the long run.

4-1, I expected them to be 3-2 at this point, so they are already overachieving! :P

The Ducks looked pretty terrible, but yeah, at least they won.

Ugly game, but thank goodness Loyd was shooting really well from deep. Though Olu had some huge slams, he really needs to work on boxing out. We gave UTEP way too many second chances, and we are fortunate that we were not playing a better team...

floyd's an awesome coach, just shady as hell.

but yeah, we sucked tonight. glad they won, but yikes. loyd may never hit 6 treys again in his life. the turnover bug struck again.

let's, uh, not speak of this game anymore and move on to byu.

For being down to only 9 active scholarship players and being rocked by another transfer, I say the team did about as expected. They just have to hold out until Joseph is eligible and then maybe things could settle down. Right now, Oregon has too many question marks in the backcourt to even consider a Tourney run. The Pac-12 is usually fairly guard heavy so not having a go-to shooter/scorer and better PG play is kind of concerning. Altman needs to find a backup PG since Loyd can't play every minute of the game and he is a bit foul prone.
