Could, but look at Bradford and Luck, both had hoped the same thing and stayed to no avail. Part of getting to a national championship is Luck (no pun intended). On top of being a great team, everything has to go right and bounces to go your way. When they do, bingo, but more often then not, they don't. I wonder when the last team who started number 1 in the polls finished number 1? This year it was Oklahoma and...
Luck is a junior this year.

My humble apologies, and I stand corrected. I've heard so many times commentators say he wanted to come back for his senior year to graduate... that I assumed - especially giving that we've heard he as started as a freshman etc. However, when I do the math; he beat us as a freshman in Stanford with Toby, and then we subsiquently beat him in Autzen and back in Stanford, that only makes 3... = JR. Again, my mistake.

I agree with earlier posts, Foles deserves to be in this conversation. He'll make a good franchise QB for the right team. He's got the size, the arm, and the descision making. Luck is still number one IMO, followed by Foles and then Barkley.
