Ya know, I love bring GC up because in his two seasons here, we had top 25 total O and scoring O. Two seasons better than anything that NA has ever done. Best part, the problem with both of them as coordinators is that they don't change anything up but we all know how Oregon fans feel about defense.

In Fort Collins he'd find a much better atmosphere for his system though and he should do well there.

He always seems to do well the first year (with someone else's recruits) but after that.............

Again, its because not much gets changed up scheme wise but he still moves the ball and puts points up. The LSU stay isn't a good example because other than the first few games that season, Les made him change a lot of what he wanted to do and it was just a bad fit from the beginning.

Well, they went with a guy who is best known for doing what on offense again? Jim McElwain for Alabama is the new HC in Ft. Collins.

Gary Crowton now wants any job.

Following the announcement of two more Maryland players taking their leave of the program — which brings that total up to eight players who have left in recent weeks — Randy Edsall is now going to be in the market for a new offensive coordinator.

According to the Washington Post, and citing three sources with knowledge of the situation, Maryland OC Gary Crowton will not return to the team next season. Whether that means Crowton, who had a three-year deal with the school, resigned, was fired or otherwise is unclear at this time.
