Re: 2011 AP All-America Teams
Sammy Watkins over DeAnthony is my biggest gripe. Watkins wins at the WR spot, DaT has been the better returner and better defines All-Purpose. DaT also has 4 more TDs on the season.
Well, that and the nonsense with Richardson. Again, I go back to the point that in Alabama and Oregon's last 2 or 3 common opponents, TR might have 6 or 7 more rushing yards, but LmJ has 3 tds to his 0. Of course, he gets 2nd team for missing games but I'd argue that just shows how amazing of a back he is to still lead the nation in rushing per game. Not like he wouldn't have ran for absurd numbers in the games he missed, either.

Curious that the kicker is also the guy who cost OK State a shot at the natty.

Woops...he's the 3rd team kicker. That makes perfect sense.

Re: 2011 AP All-America Teams
I'm happy for LaMichael, it may not be first team but it is still an incredible accomplishment to be on an All-American team two seasons in a row. I'm also happy to see Luke Kuechly got first team, my Dad won't shut up about him and he is a damn good football player(Boston transplants fyi).
Going to miss the Maehl Man
