We seem to be much thinner at DT than we are on the O-Line. I know that they tried Stevens out a little this year on the D-Line. Do we think he ends up playing DT full time next season out of necessity?

I think it is unlikely they would move Hamani yet again unless there is a real emergency, such as a serious injury to one of the defensive tackles they are relying on. If everyone stays healthy, a rotation of Celotto, Ferras, Iupati, Montgomery and Toeaina is sufficient from a numbers standpoint. How well they play is another story. Tukuafu can also take some snaps at defensive tackle in passing situations, if need be.

I don't think he showed much while on the d-line last summer, so I would doubt they try it again.

I think coaches will try move them around to see if they make it any different. Our Oline is really deep. Unless Coach feel Stevens is Lock for Center

I know some are better at OLine-but most lineman go both ways in high school. So why not dig into our stockpile of OL and even move on to DL, at least they would get more time. Just a thought. I dont know much about the Line and how its played and the diff skill set needed for OL and DL

Maybe someone will move, but I really doubt it'll be Hamani. He will likely be a four year starter at center for us. You don't want to screw with that kind of future. He'll serve the Ducks best by staying put at C

Don't move Hamani to DL!!!! He is a bowling ball and would definitely help the DL but his best position is Center. He will open GIANT holes for RBs, he is a road grater. While he may be the best penetrating DT on the team i'd much rather keep him on offense.

I've watched his snaps in practice and I hope they keep him at center. He's amazing.
Do you need a transfusion of GREEN O Positive?
