Always good to win, but unfortunately it came at a cost. I think it was Brett Thomas hit what should've been a triple, but after rounding second he slipped and hurt his leg and ended up getting tagged. Hopefully he's OK. BTW, should've been at least 3-1. I think in the 7th inning the umpire robbed Oregon of a scored run at home plate with 1 out before the play. The Oregon runner was clearly safe and the ump made a bad call. That left the bases loaded again but with 2 outs and Spencer batting, so of course he didn't get a hit and the Ducks left 3 runners stranded. The homeplate ump tonight did not do a very good job, very inconsistent all game long.
