Ducks erupt for 4 runs, 4-0 after 1!

It's fun watching it live on GoDucks.

Lead melts quickly, and Keudell appears to have lost his mojo.

one bad inning aside, good job by keudell and sherf.

and thank god we added more runs on the board after our 4-spot on the first. i've noticed we have a tendency to come up with a big inning early, then go stagnant for the remainder of the game. glad we stayed aggressive and put up runs in the 2nd and 4th, and of course that insurance run in the 8th.

purdue and kentucky, the #1 and #2 seeds in the gary regional, are playing an elimination game this morning. the winner then has to beat a surging kent state team twice to advance. before you celebrate TOO much, kent state has won 19 games in a row. they may be the #3 seed in that regional, but they're really good.

Looking even farther down the line I see Rice has already been eliminated and Baylor is fighting for their lives. We may be the only seeded team to come out of that 1/4 of the bracket with Rice, Baylor and Purdue all going home.
