The MLB is so much different than the NBA and NFL, what with the extensive farm system they have in place, and how much they utilize that system for their young players. I don't think you can really compare the MLB with the others.MFRDuckFan wrote:Do you think the MLB is ever going to adopt the same rules as the NBA & NFL about taking kids right out of high school?

No and thank God. It's frustrating for colleges to lose prospects before they even make it to campus, but baseball has by far the best system in terms of the draft of the major sports, while the NBA is probably the worst. The NBA could learn a lot from MLB. They really need to do a better job of actually using the d-league as a minor league system, rather than having unpolished, raw players sitting on the bench in the NBA, collecting millions.MFRDuckFan wrote:Do you think the MLB is ever going to adopt the same rules as the NBA & NFL about taking kids right out of high school?
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”
