Re: Aaron Gordon 5 star forward
A few months ago I would have said that Oregon had no chance, but apparently we have made a huge jump. Right now Oregon is 2nd behind Washington, but it sounds like the gap has closed. Oregon needs to blow him away on this visit, and with the Robinsons and Artis there to help woo him, it makes this visit a big opportunity for Altman and the Ducks.
Don't get too excited just yet, but we do have a legitimate shot in this one.

It would be pretty shocking if Gordon doesn't end up at UW....
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

I know Romar is tight with his family, but it sounds like it wouldn't be quite as shocking as you seem to believe. Oregon isn't the frontrunner, but we do have a better chance in this one than we ever did with Bennett.uostudent wrote:It would be pretty shocking if Gordon doesn't end up at UW....

Who knows... With Artis and the Robinson twins visiting at the same time, maybe it all becomes a package deal... Rumor has it they are pretty tight.

Hope we get him.
We need to pair Artis with some big time talent in this recruiting cycle.

Now that we got the Robinson twins, they need to get convince Gordon to join them and Artis.

The twins and Artis will play a factor in this one, but still a tough pull. The visit did go very well.thomas time wrote:Now that we got the Robinson twins, they need to get convince Gordon to join them and Artis.
Also, I expect Darrin Johnson to commit soon. He's tight with the Robinsons, Artis, and Armstead.
