Re: Kazemi eligible to play immediately
Great news. Kazemi will essentially replace Olu, but Kazemi will get to play with a better PG (Artis).
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

From today's RG..Altman said no word yet on eligibility of transfer Arsalan Kazemi, which was the lead topic in some notes published Thursday:

Yeah...I will await word from the Athletic Department/Coach Altman or Rob Moseley, not just an unconfirmed Twitter rumor from a guy trying to make a name for himself.maxduck wrote:From today's RG..Altman said no word yet on eligibility of transfer Arsalan Kazemi, which was the lead topic in some notes published Thursday:

To add to the rumor credibility:Duck24 wrote:Yeah...I will await word from the Athletic Department/Coach Altman or Rob Moseley, not just an unconfirmed Twitter rumor from a guy trying to make a name for himself.maxduck wrote:From today's RG..Altman said no word yet on eligibility of transfer Arsalan Kazemi, which was the lead topic in some notes published Thursday:

They wouldn't clear one and not the other (Oraby and not Kazemi). So I think it's pretty legit.

I heard some assistant coach got fired and he pretty much got all the recruits. Once the dominoes started to fall, the players left. I feel pretty bad for Rice fans...soduck wrote:What happen at Rice for all the sudden defections. Sorry I missed if it.

Not trying to question your sources but would the NCAA give multiple hardship waivers just because an assistant coach departed? Seems like there has to more to the story.TheMaehlMan wrote:I heard some assistant coach got fired and he pretty much got all the recruits. Once the dominoes started to fall, the players left.
