btw I was thinking, maybe Artis getting injured was a blessing in diguise. I think Loyd has started finding his groove, and come tournament time, it will be useful to have a Loyd with a head on his shoulder.

He has looked much better of late. Maybe it's been more experience, more confidence or a combination of both.

Also have to think having 2 good hands now is helping his confidence as well.

It's so true, the sad part though is he doesn't know that. If he got involved more, asked for the ball more. He'd score 50% of the time, and get fouled the other 25% of the time. Dude is a force down low, and could be a 15 and 12 guy even at a school like Oregon. Wish we could have him for another year.

One thing about it, if the guys don't buy in to what Altman is selling, they probably don't belong at Oregon.
One would think some decent HS players will begin to note the level of success being achieved with the talent that Oregon currently has, and decide to find out how far the Ducks can go with even better quality team members (Gotta love the heart and commitment of the current Ducks. This has to have been a tough building process).

Exactly, Loyd getting all these minutes well help come postseason play. It's also nice to have Artis back, going 2 for 2 from the arc off the bench with limited minutes is always a plus.
