I'm glad the football team can really score, or else we would be struggling to put up points in all the major sports.

had at least two runners on in each of the 7th, 8th, and 9th innings. couldn't come up with the one big hit we needed.

Track and Cross Country (Men & Women) put up decent numbers as well.duckgrad99 wrote:I'm glad the football team can really score, or else we would be struggling to put up points in all the major sports.

Re: Vanderbilt @ Oregon (Fri-Sun 3 game series)
we had multiple runners on in the 7th, 8th, and 9th innings yesterday, and finally broke through with a couple big hits today.
i'm not going to say we looked good swinging the lumber this weekend, but i do think there are small signs of progress. we're getting runners on a little better now, we're just not always coming up with the clutch hit. before, we weren't even getting runners on base.

Nice to see them get a win against a top-10 team and not get swept.

losing 2-1 against a team like Vanderbilt is nothing to be worried about. Just glad we won one, and kept the others relatively close.
