Ducks lose 14-9. Awful pitching so far in this series.

What happened to the defense in this series? From what I've seen they were doing pretty good in their first three Pac-12 series. This is bad to lose the first two at ASU.

it's what we call a clusterf***.

ah well. gotta win today. the worst thing you can do in this league is get your ass swept. everyone has a lost weekend, but dropping 3 games in one weekend is almost impossible to make up.

Offense is just pounding ASU today. Too bad the pitching didn't hold up the first two games.

One of my main concerns going into the year was that Oregon didn't have Alex Keudell getting a win each Friday any longer. I definitely thought Reed would be better, but I'm not surprised that there have been some issues. Oregon has a very young rotation, and it should grow over the course of the season. At least the hitting appears to be improving. It was very impressive to see Oregon make that comeback in the first game, but they ran out of gas.

At least Oregon salvaged the series with a win today, but it would have been nice to get the road series victory. Last year Oregon was remarkable versus marquee opponents on the road, so it is natural to see that return more to the norm this season. Unfortunately, Oregon has some tough games ahead on the road, and hopefully they can find a way to win a series before heading back home in a few weeks.
