Could be a battle today. We usually go deep in the bullpen for these Tuesday games, and UP has some talent to threaten. Hopefully we can start the week on a positive note.

Cole Wiper is going to be starting in place of Jeff Gold due to Gold having some elbow discomfort. The coaches said Gold is feeling better but they're being careful with him and also want to test out some other arms to prepare for possible post-season starting assignments.

the wind is crazy today, too. balls are just whipping out the stadium. outfielders are having a hell of a time with simple cans of corn. already a couple errors because of it.

Must be, because there is no way Portland should score 7+ runs against the ducks.

which is kinda nuts, there's no reason that 4th starter job in a regional or, if we're so lucky, omaha, shouldn't be christian jones.
