thomas came through w/ an RBI single to make up for doing his best raul ibanez impersonation in left, leading to stanford's run.

I couldn't get a ticket, so I've been watching on the P12 Network. Hopefully Sherfy can close out the 8th here and go 1-2-3 in the 9th.

Big to get out of the inning without surrendering a run.

Huge to win the first two games of this series. Oregon has a good RPI, but they had not gotten a marquee series win since the Arizona series. They had some heartbreakers versus UCLA, so it is good to see Oregon get this one. I think Jake Reed can finish the sweep tomorrow.

stanford may have the best array of bats in the league. very impressed by the pitching efforts.
is jones hurt again? w/ cleavinger pitching a little extra friday, yesterday in the 8th would have been vintage jones time. instead, sherfy went 2 full. // shrug, maybe he's fine and horton is going to let him start tuesday against seattle.
