Re: Ex-Ducks NFL Status
Lots of players shifting around but I'm surprised how Joe Walker is only a practice squad player for the 49ers. He was starting material in a crowded ILB corps with the eagles just a year or two ago....

Digging this up since we can link Norm Van Brocklin to Justin HerbertDuck07 wrote: My biggest question for the upcoming season: Will Kellen Clemens throw a pass this season to keep Oregon's QB Pass Attempts streak alive? We're at something like 67 seasons in a row or something absurd like that!
74 Seasons of an Oregon QB attempting a pass in a Professional Football game (this obviously predates the unified NFL)

Yes! I remember reading an article about this years ago and failed in my attempt to find an article talking about it.Duck07 wrote:Digging this up since we can link Norm Van Brocklin to Justin HerbertDuck07 wrote: My biggest question for the upcoming season: Will Kellen Clemens throw a pass this season to keep Oregon's QB Pass Attempts streak alive? Here's the article about the streak.
Clemens threw passes pretty much every year.
Marcus kept it going.
Herbert this year.

Sounds like Kiko Alonso just got traded to San Francisco. The 49er defense is collecting Ducks, with Arik Armstead, Dion Jordan, Joe Walker, and now Kiko.

Kinda crazy just because we haven't had a QB be successful in the NFL in decades.GrantDuck wrote:Here's the article about the streak.

Royce Freeman may start at QB for the Broncos tomorrow or play reps there due to Covid and the Denver QBs.
