I think his last season in Tennessee where Vrabel used him as a scapegoat for some early questionable coaching decision and set the way for Tannehill to be the “savior” of the team really ruined him and made him lose his fight. I think he’d be happy never playing a down in an actual NFL game again, but I could be wrong.

I totally agree with OF4L. The fire is totally gone. He's just collecting checks at this point (and good for him). Not saying he's not giving full effort on the field, but I don't think he cares much at this point.
On a different note, Bennett Williams is working out with the Bucs and hopefully can snag a practice squad spot. Also saw a good highlight of Royce trucking someone with the Rams. Looks like he's solid to getting a roster spot.
Herbert with the first of many TD passes this season.
Call me crazy but part of me wants the Chargers to have a bad year so they fire Staley and go after Lincoln Riley. I actually think Lincoln Riley would be a good coach for Herbert plus he wouldn’t be at USC anymore.

Just watching the Chargers vs Miami and noting the difference in situations between Tua and his ridiculous corps of receivers vs Justin and his overpaid, injury-prone, aging unit. That, and the idiots on the Charger defense that are always doing stupid stuff to give up points, like allowing Miami to score a field goal from their own 25 in 14 seconds before halftime.
At least he is getting paid.

Staley auditioning for worst coach in the NFL today. Sucks to see another Oregon QB get stuck with a crappy organization/coaching staff. I do have hope for Kellen Moore though, I expect Chargers to lose a lot of high scoring games with the OLine and defense that they have.

It’s painfully obvious Staley has no idea what he’s doing. They should’ve let him go when that was apparent his first season instead of dragging this thing out.

The DB jackson cost them 10pts with pure stupidity. First the PI at end of half and then he gets a pick 6yds deep and in the end zone and runs it out to the 3!! Starting from the 20 would have changed a lot!
