Yes we agree the the PAC refs suck and have for a long time
At one time the Ducks outnumbered UW in penalties 9 to 1, but the refs finally started calling holding on them in the second half when they were gassed and couldn't stop our pass rush.

Yes, they missed an obvious horse collar penalty on the Ducks, but they also missed an obvious pass interference call on UW, that not long after calling one on Oregon! As I said before, at least they got 3 points out of the official gaffe. We got none.

Let's go ahead and tack on 4 more points for them, assuming that they were able to score a TD after the horse collar penalty. That would make the final score 45-28.

Now let's erase the questionable 4th down TD the Ducks were awarded in the 1st Qtr to make it 7-0. That would make the final score 38-28.

Is there anything else they'd like to complain about? We've still got a 10 point cushion to play with. Let's give them one more TD just for the fun of it. Guess what? Oregon STILL wins!!!

Dang!

yea, other than the horse collar i thought it was average officiating. I thought they missed a hold on sankeys 17yd run and i thought a no-call was fine on the PI we wanted but even if they get half the distance and a 1st down, wasn't it already 3 scores by that point? Even at 2 scores, they hadn't shown the ability to stop our O in the 2nd half as it was.

You know what the funny thing is? The ref was looking right at that 'horse-collar', and he didn't call it. The Oregon defender took his hand off and pushed the UW player forward instead. Anyone who bases their three-TD blowout loss on a supposed missed horsecollar tackle should get a new hobby. "We lost because the refs didn't bail us out enough times!". Never mind the penalty disparity already in this game.

haha Walt III is getting all sorts of crap from the Fuskies. He's handling like a champ, though. Once a Duck, always a Duck.

Maybe it was covered earlier in this thread, but did anyone notice that the Husky's logos on their helmets and some of the names on their jerseys were peeling?

College Football Night finally addresses the fact that Oregon did this without De'Anthony Thomas, the most explosive player in the nation. If 100% healthy DAY plays today, Oregon wins by at least 28 points.

If Keanon Lowe doesn't drop that pass (well, perhaps it would have been DAT) its 28. DAT would be more like 35+

If Helf wouldn't have called off the dogs we would have. If Keanon hadn't dropped the TD it would have been by more.

So if Lowe didn't drop that touchdown pass, if DAT played, and if Helf didn't call off the dogs, Oregon would've won by maybe 42 points?

Why do you say that? They probably won't be as good, but they're only losing Price and 3 guys on defense, well, and probably Sankey Williams, and Seferian-Jenkins. We'll see what kind of recruiting class they can get this year, their recruiting class will determine their future. And isn't their two backup QB's pretty good? I thought they had a couple of 4 star QB's waiting to compete for the starting position this off-season.
