Any reason Chip didn't recruit smith as a tackle? Dude is just beasting out there, unstoppable. Glad UCLA didn't know how to use him.

Real nice win. I didn't think we could do it without Artis and Carter but man do we like to play in scrappy games.

Nice opening win, especially without 2 potential starters. Really think Altman got something special with Moser, Young, and Calliste. Really impressed with how Amardi looked. This really takes the edge off the loss from last night.

Great way to start the year! Takes away a little bit of the sting from the football game last night. Looking forward to another great season and, hopefully, a deep NCAA Tournament run.

So nice to have Loyd when Artis is out. He could be huge, like in the tourney.

Great win, Young is a huge pickup by Dana!!! Nice game by Loyd, and nice to see Moser make some shots in the second half.

Not surprised that Young looked awesome, he's a very good scorer.

Very pleased with how well Moser played. Looks like he's completely healthy. Definitely poised to have a big season.

Nice win. Amardi looked pretty good. Once Artis returns, this team should be quite good.
“If everybody in this room just want to be real with themselves, this game could have went either way,” he said. “We turned the ball over a lot. We beat ourself. Just be real with yourself right now. We beat ourself.”

Yup Young looked awesome. FT shooting was fantastic. We held our own, I was very impressed with the win!!

Moser needs to work on shot selection a little bit. No reason to be shooting too many 3s (although he did hit 2). But yeah, Moser looked great overall.

Austin and Amardi were again pretty awful tonight. At least Amardi showed off some athleticism offensively a few times. So definitely some improvements vs how he look in preseason.

Lots of fun to start out with a solid win. Good job Altman!
