Draft Preview 91

Post by Zyme »

We here at draft watch welcome you to another year, another rumor mill.

College star Sean Kemp, who stayed amateur to play for Kentucky, seems to be on the road to recovery. While he is only just practicing in the last week or two, word out practice is he is beasting the rest of the posts. Seems he has that fire to get back to shape. Kentucky is currently on a slide and only 6-8 early in conference play, they sure could use him.

Today's story is related to O'Neil, the curious case of Stanley Roberts. From South Carolina, he started at LSU. Like MAR last year, decided to leave then he heard that O'Neal was not attending LSU, he decided to go pro. In Europe. He currently plays for the Liga ACB team Real Madrid. The team are doing very well and look to be on track, well outside the relegation zone and in 3rd place in league. Roberts has been a defensive anchor for the team, 3nd in the league in blocks and 1st in per game. He has had some nagging injuries that have kept him on the trainer's table for a number of games.

We here at draft watch are back after a series of exams, and now can continue our observations.

Word out of the O'Neil camp seem to indicate that Shaquille's education is progression steadily. In fact, word is his grades are excellent and might be looking to transfer to a full university for the next fall. This transfer is attracting offers from basically every school in the SE an every major BB school in the nation. Even top prospects like Penny Hardaway and Chris Webber have been overshadowed by such a big name. The top contenders for the O'Neil signature are Texas, Duke, Kentucky, Florida State, and UTEP
