LaMichael James May Have Just Made The 49'ers Again

Most people thought that unless he showed significant improvement, LaMichael James would likely be cut by the 49'ers this year because they're loaded at RB and he's been a bit of a disappointment. However, with Kendall Hunter tearing an ACL a couple days ago and Marcus Lattimore still recovering from knee surgery, LaMichael may have earned his spot on the roster by default for another season. Hopefully he'll show major improvement this season.

I heard he's up to 208...not sure if that's a good thing.

Yep. I hexed the kid. He hates me.

He should be back before long unless they decide to do surgery. Is it the same elbow?

Poor LMJ. Hope he recovers and has a great year. He deserves it.

J-Stew would be one of the best backs in the league if he could stay healthy. Unfortunately, he's always been plagued with injuries, even here.

We all kinda knew LMJ was a tad to small to play on Sundays. Which is even more frustrating when you remember he left a season short of setting quite a few NCAA all time running back records to be eligible for the draft. Grrrrrr......................

I think he regrets it too. I've seen on Twitter where he says he wishes he was still in college.

He needs a change of scenery. Seattle or Philadelphia. Somewhere where football is still fun.

SF was a horrible fit for him from the very beginning. Obviously he had no choice in the matter but it was never the right fit. I hope things work out for him.
