He's not a returning starter and they do expect him back at some point this season, but the injury has caused the MSU staff to do quite a bit of shuffling. Only time will tell how much it affects them.

I just hope that we can make it through the rest of camp without anymore major injuries.

MSU certainly hasn't avoided the injury bug this offseason. I still think Oregon's losses so far and their losses have offset pretty evenly. If no one else gets hurt, don't see any excuses getting thrown one way or another.

I heard an interview on the radio with their coach a few weeks ago and their theory was to go full speed and full contact all camp to have their new replacements ready for the season. This was questioned by the interviewer as being potentially dangerous. The answer was, "we'll see, but it's how we operate"
