I think that the Heisman winner will not only be won by the player with the BEST stats...but by the player with the BEST character. The last 2 winners were "characters" with character issues (Manziel/Winston). The Heisman Board of Trustees won't have a say on who will win the award but I'm sure that they are going to insist that the winner be a "winner"....ON the field....and off the field!

If Marcus doesn't win the Heisman, it will be an absolute joke.

Not that I'm biased or anything :)

Mariota picks up an additional vote. Boykin and Gordon are right behind Prescott now.

All I will say is this, if Prescott has any sort of decent game and MSU beats Alabama, we will see a huge shift in the voting. Marcus played some huge games early on in the season but they will be forgotten about as Prescott plays Bama, Ole Miss and a potential SEC title game.

Maybe I am just trying to keep myself from believing

No, he'll move either solidly into 2nd or tied 2nd depending on how the MSU/UA game finishes. He'll pick up some votes for #1 though, but not enough to unseat Marcus in points.

I don't know, 408 yards in 3 quarters against a ranked team is unbelievable. He probably won't pass Mariota but if Bama wins it'll be close.

Gordan plays on the worst conference in America. And they have lost twice. He won't win it unless Marcus loses one of these final three games.

Sure is quiet on ESPN today about their boy Dak and his Heisman bid. You can bet if he had beat Bama there would be 22 articles about how he just sealed up the Heisman.

That's alright, QB's have much better chances than RB's that aren't part of a Top 5 team or WR's, ever.

Gordon's Vegas odds went from 20/1 to 2/1 but Marcus is still the HEAVY favorite. He's 1/2 to 1/5 depending on where you look.

I wish I understood the whole 20/1, 2/1, 1/2, 1/5 numbers. I don't get what that means exactly.
