I hope TJ Ward and TJIII give him a nice welcome back to Autzen on 11/14.

Re: AP to ASU
Can't blame the kid because his dad was canned but he what does anger me is the fact he waited till after the spring game to leave and then go to another PAC-10 team. He will have to sit out this year but next year I hope the Duck defenders knock him around a bit!

Wow, just... Wow!
I really can't imagine how much angst was involved in the choice... The ASU DC has to be rubbing his little hands together with glee, just for the chance to plumb the depths of Pflugrad's little mind.

Re: AP to ASU
Gotta wonder why he was granted a release to anywhere he wanted. Seems like most other schools don't hesitate to try to limit players from transfering within conference even though it doesnt always work.

Re: AP to ASU
I think it actually sends a really strong message... basically, "I don't care where you go if you're going to leave". It seems to me when you tell a player they can't go certain places, it's like you're scared they're going to come back to haunt you.snapt wrote:Gotta wonder why he was granted a release to anywhere he wanted. So many people on here and other boards were sayin that AP wasnt that good of a player and that the Ducks wont miss him. Well then what does it matter where he goes? Best of luck to him.

Re: AP to ASU
I recall watching an interview with Amanda Pflugrad on youtube, where she had to answer a few questions. One of the questions was: If you didn't go to Oregon, what school would you have gone to?
Answer: ASU
I don't know much about this, but if Aaron Pflugrad is going to ASU, it's likely Amanda will be gone as well..
Sad news.

Re: AP to ASU
I think people are more worried about him giving up the playbook more so than being a huge threat on the field.Well then what does it matter where he goes?

Three thoughts on the issue
1) If this really happens, a total dick move by AP. I have no problem with him getting a shot wherever he goes, but total dick move.
2) Az State's coaches should already know how to key off of our general offense, as should most coaches of teams that are going to play us. The key to good UO coaches is their ability to create schemes that counteract the info other teams get by scouting
3) I have faith that CK can overcome ASU knowing the playbook and maybe even throw in a few plays that take advantage of this

Re: AP to ASU
Why exactly is this a dick move? At least he didn't go to OSU.
