Sources: #Oregon CB Ifo Ekpre-Olomu suffered what is believed to be a serious knee injury in practice yesterday. Concern it's a torn ACL.

FSU is the luckiest team in the history of sports.

I swear it's like the football gods don't want Oregon to win a title.

This seriously effing sucks. Out of ALL the players this could have happened to it happens to one of our best two players.

Bralon, Johnstone, Pharaoh, Ifo. I've never seen a team that has lost so many key players for the season. I know injuries are part of sports but this is ridiculous.

What the heck. Seems like fate likes to screw Oregon with torn ACLs.

Bright side: Backup will have plenty of extra reps with the 1's. Hope they're ready to roll.

I think it's going to be our finest hour. Yes, it sucks, but for years the mantra at Oregon has been "next man up" and this is no different. We've made it through the entire year without Bralon and Johnstone, and as much as it hurt to lose Pharoah, we haven't lost a game since he's been out.

It'll be interesting to see how Pellum adjusts. Still, I fully believe that we'll be just fine. Let them gain some confidence when they hear this. They'll soon realize that the Oregon Ducks are loaded with talent, too, just like they are.

We're still going to win. Count on it.

I think the best we can hope is that maybe the reports are wrong, similar to how many reports were saying Hill was out for the year after the Michigan State game. If not, then the next best bet is that whoever fills in for Ifo is at least half as good as him.

I do think we survive this, if it's true. Fortunately, there is a good amount of time between now and the Rose Bowl for the Ducks to prepare -- physically, schematically AND psychologically -- for this. I will still be surprised if the Ducks lose to FSU.

But how awful it must be for Ifo, if true: Right after coming back from some of that awards stuff himself, to have this happen before what could be the Ducks greatest accomplishment as a team in their history. My prayers go out to him.

The reports are not wrong. It sucks but thats the way it goes. The Ducks will show up and the offense will do its thing.
