They usually have two other functions that day, like Baseball or Softball or Soccer, so it's early to fit all that in.

That's tough though since so many of us are coming down from Portland. Getting two kids, and lunches and diaper bags and backpacks all ready and packed by 730 isn't too fun.

The key to the game will be how the O-Line can handle their D-Line. We need to win this so we can shut up the media.

Isn't that what we thought before we saw Mariota?

Exactly, going into that year, we were all saying how it would be a down year with a new QB. Hey, fun things can happen with a young QB..

^ Well I would say we were all fairly confident in Bennett at the very least. He had shown a lot more than Lockie or Mahalak have at this point.

Bennett was also used during non-mop up time when Lockie's job was to secure and hand off the ball. I don't know why people are down on the guy, claiming he doesn't do XXX or can't do YYY, when all we saw were mop-up snaps. The practice notes often say he has made a lot of progress. Spring game, he'll have a few weeks with the ones, running the ones, so we can start to see what he can do.

He saw more action than just mop-up duty.

He came in against Ohio State when Mariota had to sit out a play and he also came in against Texas when Marcus had his helmet ripped off.

In both of those instances he looked completely out of his element.
