Shooting Guards:
Richard Hamilton C+ C+ C- B- C A

The undisputed leader of the NCAA champion UConn Huskies. Hamilton is one of the most balanced players in this class, even when compared next to Shawn Marion. He is a lock down defender and is never beaten on defense. Was top 5 in both the shuttle and in the 40 yard dash drills at the combine. With the exception of post up guards like Andre Miller, few were able to score on Hamilton all season. Nobody has more upside.

Corey Maggette C+ C+ C C C+ A

Duke were very disipointed when Maggette decided to depart school early for the pros. He was their leading scorer who spent most of his time at the PF position. While a very good inside and outside PF in college, his professional positions will probably be a the Small Forward position. He has a great nose for the goal and has excellent range from behind the arc, his main problems lie on the defensive end of th court. He just doesnt seepto put a lot of effort in that area. Scouts worry that this may limit his overall top end if he cannot find the desire to pick it up on this end of the court.

Raja Bell C+ C+ C C C- A

Florida International is a young school with a very limited history in terms of success but they found one of their first trips to the big dance on the heels of Bell. He led the Panthers to one of their few berths and a conference tournament win. He is an excellent outside shooter and a dependable jumper to match. He has great physicality on the low block and was one of the few players who could beat Rip, doing his damage from the block. He really does not play a ton of defense, leading some to question his desire. This is somewhat chocked up to playing at a small school and not to larger regional teams like FU, Miami or FSU.

James Posey C+ B- C C- B- C B

The Musketeer from Xavier is one of your classic 3 and D players. He shoots outside with the best of them and also can play lock-down defense. He has exceptionally quick hands and recovers off of screens like few others in this class. Adequate strength for his positions with a solid post set as well. Very good at handling the ball.

Trajan Langdon C B C- C D+ A

The Robin to Magettie's Batman, Trajan was one the deadliest outside shooters at the college level. Defines "textbook jumpshot" he also has great range from outside as well. Not especially good on the defensive end as his size and weight were a particular detriment against larger matchups. Solid peremeter defender and scouts think he should have the potential to be a solid rotation option at the next level.
