Is that real? Did Oregon really net 85 million last year? No one even came close to that number....

Wow. Next closest Pac-12 team is Washington, with only half as much revenue as Oregon. USC not on the list. With those kind of numbers I wish they would lower the price of tickets for football.

Most private schools missing from the list so I'm guessing USC didn't report (also Stanford, Notre Dame, etc).

Digging into the numbers a bit shows an increase in "contributions" last year of nearly $80,000,000, to $124,927,474. Previous highest year was 2010 with $73 million. This is probably an accounting anomaly for one of Uncle Phil's capital construction projects.

That makes a lot more sense. It would be crazy to think that our brand was close to as large as someone like Texas. Notre Dame would also be at the top if their numbers were disclosed

But our brand is expanding rapidly. It doesn't hurt to have someone like Mariota representing your brand though:

The Hatfield-Dowlin facility was included on the revenue line, so income does include major''one-off" gifts to boost that number. The Sanders softball project will expense this year and next.

Private schools such as USC and Stanford do not have to release those numbers and most likely they are higher than UO's year in/out.

So does this mean they can cut ticket prices in half, and still dominate the college football world with their net income?
