2005 PGs

Two all stars, then not much else.

Chris Paul PG 6'0'' 175 20 C+ B- A- C+ D+ A: What you see is what you get. Noe one is as sneaky on defense as Paul. In fact, no one in DASL history has ever anticipated for steals batter than Paul. His ball control and vision are unparalleled for an undrafted rookie. His on ball defense and scoring aren't where you want it to be, but he hasn't even played a game in DASL yet. He should be a great in DASL.

Deron Williams PG 6'3'' 210 21 B- C+ B+ C D A: Dribble drive. Jump shot off the dribble. Creating for others. Deron Williams does it all. He might not be as efficient as Chris Paul, and his range is certainly more limited as well, however, Deron's jump shot is the best we've seen in years. He's physical enough to attack the rim and has great athleticism. His defense will always hold him back, but otherwise he does pretty much everything you'd want in a PG.

Raymond Felton PG 6'1'' 198 21 C C+ B C+ C- B: Despite a great college career with a dominant North Carolina team, Felton will get overlooked in this draft. His stock has fallen quite a bit recently. He takes care of the ball well and gets teammates involved. His PG skills are well-polished. Put the ability to grow the rest of his game is being questioned. Defensively, he likes to play risky and go for steals and transition baskets. Probably nothing more than a solid, efficient contributor off the bench.

Salim Stoudamire PG 6'1'' 179 23 C- B+ C- C- D A: It's a fact. No one shoots 3-pointers better than Stoudamire. That's all he does, that's what he's good at, and that's what you should expect. He has enough potential to do his task for a good decade, but not enough to develop any other part of his game.
