Wins the ncaa 60 meter indoor championship. Makes you wonder how much football will interfere with his Olympic hopes. Here a link to his win:

Did he not compete in the worlds this past weekend? I didn't hear anything on him.

I've said this to friends many times when the subject of Allen doing track solely versus dual-sport comes up: there's a lot more money in football. If Allen progresses on the field from what he showed as a freshman, he has a very legitimate shot at the NFL. Ashton Eaton's first contract with Nike, after winning a few NCAA titles, was $400k annually, and decathlon champions are far more marketable than hurdles champions unless you look like Lolo Jones.

/economic argument

If DA has dreams of an Olympic gold, he really should focus on track. I can't see the beating his body takes on the football field and the risk of injury being anything less than detrimental to his future on the track. He's so damn good despite doing it part-time that it's pretty amazing.
