Has there been a more dominant stretch than this, in any sport, in Pac-10/12 history?

In track and field the USC men won 8 straight on 2 different occasions and the UCLA women won eight straight once, so this is the most dominant stretch in Track and Field. To sweep both men's and women's eight straight years is incredible! I wonder how it compares with what Arkansas has done in SEC Track and Field.

I can't say I know too much about other (minor) sports, but I know the Huskies have been pretty dominant in Rowing, though I'm not even sure that there are conference championships in that sport.
