The more and more I read these practice reports, I think we got an absolute steal in Tristen Wallace.

The receivers that Oregon has signed under Lubick -- Jalen Brown, Alex Ofodile, Tristen Wallace, Dillon Mitchell, Kirk Merritt -- is an exceptional amount of talent. This year's recruiting at the position hasn't gone great, but I've got a lot of faith that he'll figure it out.

I think down the road, we may see wallace play some wildcat qb as well. He is similar to bralon Addison in his versatility and agility.....except he is 6 inches taller and 40 lbs heavier

I pray to god that we never see the wildcat, run by anybody, in Oregon's future.

I think they should run a couple plays of it just to make someone have to prepare for it but then never use it.

The wildcat is stupid, and has zero place in the Oregon playbook. Our qbs and O make a team have to respect both the qb passing or running, the wildcat only lets the D know we aren't throwing.

What does that even mean? Bennett was a QB...

Those 2-5 yard plays vs backups? When we tried it vs Arizona, they stuffed Colt. But none of How's plays are the wildcat.

They were exclusively zone read plays. Whenever colt and Bennett were in, typically at goal line, we would run zone read plays. Not wildcat per se but everyone knew we would be running it. Wallace at 240 could be a force in Short yardage plays. Cam Newton was nearly unstoppable in similar circumstances at auburn

The only DC who can't stop the wildcat, is Pellum.

And to add that group to what we already have, our WR core is one of the best in the nation.
